About the Rooms

Two Screens, One Rhythm

We run two screens out of a converted temperance hall: the Long Room, which seats ninety, and the Snug, which seats twenty-eight. Nine years in, the rhythm has not changed — a screening every Thursday evening, and a matinee on the first Sunday of the month. Everything else is an exception, and we mark it as one.

The Whole History

Two Years, Searchable

Every screening we have run in the last two years is kept in the archive, filterable by screen and decade, searchable by title or director. A stranger looking for the Varda we showed eighteen months ago should find it exactly the way they would find what is on this week.
